Here is some information about us.
St. Paul's United Methodist Church is a community of various backgrounds and beliefs, drawn together by the love of Jesus Christ, our care for each other, and our passion for our community. We believe that all people are created in the image of God, that all people are of sacred worth, and that Christ died for all people. We welcome everyone without exception, regardless of age, race, ethnic background, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, family or socioeconomic status, educational background, political affiliation, physical or mental ability, faith history or life experience. We believe that the diversity of God's creation is part of what makes it beautiful. We are a church where it is safe to disagree about important things and still remain united in the love of Jesus. We agree to accept, respect, and love one another along our faith journeys. No matter who you are, where you're from, or what you believe, you are always welcome at St. Paul's.
When you visit St. Paul's, you can expect to be welcomed as a guest not a visitor.
You can expect us to treat scripture like we expect God to speak through it to us today.
You can expect worship that is relevant.
You can expect to celebrate Communion joyfully, as all are welcome at Christ's table.
Ask an usher, greeter or pastor if you have any questions. Better yet, let us know you’re coming: StPaulsUMCde@comcast.net
St. Paul's is a caring, Christ-centered congregation reaching out to the world by sharing the Good News through our Worship, Mission, Christian Education & Fellowship.
We invite you to experience worship, fellowship, and a sense of Christian community at St. Paul's Church. We are a congregation of faith on a journey together, intentionally committed to knowing, to loving, and to serving God, becoming the heart of Jesus Christ in the world today.
The purpose of our Covenant is to describe a model of behavior for a Christian Community that fosters
growth, respect, peace, love and an embodiment of Christ-like characteristics. An environment that
embraces these behavioral norms allows for open discussion, amiable disagreement, and an opportunity
for a purpose to be served greater than each one of us as individuals.
